As a volunteer, it is not just the relationships that you build that will leave a lasting impact on the local community, but the cultural exchange and understanding in which you participate as well.

Your volunteer experience offers you an adventure with countless opportunities to explore, discover, learn,and connect with local people and their communities. Whether you visit government schools, or find yourself learning how to cook a local dish, every activity you engage in should offer you a greater appreciation of the local land and all of its beautiful complexities.

Activities will vary based on the location and time of the trip, but teams will likely spend most of their time building relationships – playing games with the children, visiting partner institutions, or sharing meals with local community members. On some occasions, teams may participate in a work project.
